On October 22, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announced the "Notice on the Announcement of the 2024 Guangxi Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmark Enterprise, Guangxi Intelligent Factory Demonstration Enterprise, and Guangxi Digital Workshop Certification List". Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Liugong) and Guangxi Cummins Industrial Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangxi Cummins) have been listed as the "2024 Guangxi Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmark Enterprises".
Liugong applied for the "Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmark Enterprise" based on the intelligent manufacturing project of loaders. The project integrates new generation information technologies such as cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things, mobile internet, and artificial intelligence, and reconstructs the business model by integrating digital thinking and Industry 4.0 technology. With the three elements of "talent and organizational culture transformation", "intelligent production process", and "data-driven decision-making" as support, it adheres to the principle of lean as the soul and quality priority, and quickly promotes the upgrading of intelligent manufacturing of loaders.
This project implements the full process management from order decomposition to delivery and after-sales service, including 15 links and 21 intelligent manufacturing application scenarios. In the manufacturing process, intelligent sensing and control equipment, detection and assembly equipment, logistics and warehousing equipment, industrial robots, and other equipment are invested to build intelligent coating lines, cutting lines, welding lines, and flexible assembly production lines. Manufacturing and processing units such as three-dimensional warehouses and intelligent warehouses are deployed to achieve the intelligence of the entire loader manufacturing process, including unmanned cutting, automated sorting, robot welding and coating, flexible assembly, and automated logistics.
Guangxi Cummins Intelligent Manufacturing Factory improves production efficiency and shortens product delivery cycles through the application of collaborative robots and AGVs; Importing a management system for core business has improved the efficiency of business processes; Introduce error prevention methods such as visual inspection to improve manufacturing quality and create a zero defect quality control capability for manufacturing; Through the device health management system, preventive maintenance is carried out on equipment to improve its operational reliability and reduce downtime. The smart factory has completed intelligent upgrades in more than 10 scenarios, including product digital research and design, process digital design, product quality optimization, proactive customer service, human-machine collaborative manufacturing, and intelligent warehousing. It has achieved improvements in core indicators such as key equipment networking rate, product development cycle, inventory turnover rate, on-time order delivery rate, and order distribution cycle, effectively enhancing the overall intelligence, digitization, and greening level of the company.
